His famous droopy eyes were due to an incident with forceps that occurred at the moment that he was born. In the accident, a nerve was cut , which caused him to have slurred speech. Stallone was a troubled youngster. The actor and his brother Frank who was affected by their parents' violent relationship, which later ended by divorce. Stallone was placed in foster care during a portion in his first years. When Stallone was about five years young, his dad moved the family to the Washington, D.C. area where he started his own chain of beauty salons. Stallone spent many years in Maryland, living with his father from 1957, when the couple divorced. Stallone had trouble academically as well as emotionally and had to abandon many schools.
